The Wennemars® ECF6 Feeder is attached to an ECF6 adaptor.
When you buy a Wennemars® ECF6 Feeder, an adaptor is included. But what are the functions of the adaptor, and what makes it special?

The adaptor has the following functions:

• The locking mechanism ensures that the ECF6 Feeder cannot fall to the ground anymore.
• The ECF6 adaptor allows us to set the ECF6 Feeder at a specific height without needing to change the fencing.
• The ECF6 adaptor enables the ECF6 Feeder to be tilted.

The ECF6 adaptor consists of a triangle and a mounting plate. The adaptor is easy to install and only needs to be installed once.

The mounting plate of the adaptor comes in different lengths. This is because a longer mounting plate is required for a fence of 130 cm than for a fence of 100 cm. The ECF6 Feeder needs to hang much lower when it is installed on a fence of 130 cm to ensure the teat hangs at +/- 65 cm from the ground. The different lengths of the mounting plate make it possible to always achieve the correct drinking height for every fence.

The ECF6 adaptor is available in three different types.

Every type has its own advantages, depending on the fence. If you have limited eating space, we advise choosing a Swing Over or Turn Over adaptor. This allows the ECF6 Feeder to hang upside down, so all the eating space is still available during the day. Additionally, the ECF6 Feeder is even easier to keep clean when it hangs upside down during the day because it can dry out.
