Description
The Milkbar 2-Compartment Feeder has 2 slots, each with a volume of 2.5 litres. It is designed for groups of 2 calves. The Ezi Lock Hooks allow the feeder to be easily clamped to a tube with a maximum diameter of 7.5 cm.
Tips uit de praktijk:
Compartment Feeders look very nice, but they can create unrest in the group. Make sure to stay close when feeding them. If one or two of the three calves are done drinking, it may push the other off its teat to steal its milk. This way, the second calf doesn’t get the chance to drink all the milk that was meant for it.
Compartment feeders can be useful for larger farms that have multiple calvings per day.
