We are delighted with the system! Calmer pens and no more urine drinking calves After trying out a few ECF6 drinkers, we started up without individual newborn calf pens in January 2024. This meant groups of six calves. The calves drink milk from the teat on the ECF6 drinker from the first week. In the afternoon, we feed them electrolytes from the trough. After the first week, we switch to milk feeding from the trough. We have now automated this process, meaning the calves endure less stress. No urine drinking calves and calmer, stress-free pens. We are 100% satisfied and recommend it to everybody.
